Pulling Into The Station - Some of My Frequent Stops

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. With the holiday and then having a sty that made my eye swell shut, I really didn't feel like getting on the computer.

I thought I would share with you some of the sites that I frequent on a regular basis.

The first stop is a place with a 12 step program. I have to say the progam isn't working too well. Please visit Craftaholics Anonymous.

Look at these cute and simple burb clothes she made.

Our second stop is a place with a homemade vibe. Please visit Homemade By Jill.

Isn't this playhouse she made adorable. My kids would love this.

Our last visit is to a place where the more you make, the more you love. Please visit Make It and Love It.

I would love to make a skirt like this one.

Hope you enjoyed the stops.

From Mess to Nest

Sorry there is not Pulling Into The Station this week, but I do have a fun treat post to share with you.

Who would thing that something so cute could come from what's in this bowl, but it did.

I got the idea from Bake @ 350. Go visit her blog. She has lots of amazing recipes and ideas.

Here is the recipe copied exactly from the Bake @ 350 blog.

Bird's Nests

3 c. mini marshmallows
3 TBSP unsalted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
4 c. dry chow mein noodles
small candies, jelly beans, m & m's, etc.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

Over low heat, melt the marshmallows and butter in a large saucepan.

Once melted, stir in the vanilla, then the chow mein noodles.

Coat your hands liberally with shortening, (butter doesn't work as well) and have some nearby for re-coating.

Hope you enjoy, and Happy Easter.

Pulling Into The Station - For The Cause Stop

Thanks for stopping by. Just thought I would share a few stops that are helping raise awareness for many causes.

Our first stop is like frosting on the cake. Please visit Frosting For The Cause.

They invite different bloggers to talk about a special person in their life that has dealt with cancer, and then they create a dessert in honor of them.
Here is the latest dessert that was featured. You have to go over to the blog to get the full story.

Our next stop is to the Belle of Sugar. Please visit The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle.

Right now on her blog she has a special post about Autism Awareness.

Hope you enjoyed the stops today, and if you know of any other blogs that do things for a cause then please let me know. I would love to feature them.
