Unicorn Craze

We had a baby shower for one of my friends at church.  The theme for the shower was unicorns.  So, they wanted me to make one of the unicorn cakes that is so popular right now.

Here is my take on the unicorn cake in the colors of the shower.

 

 

The ears and horn are made from marshmallow fondant.  The horn is fondant that was spiraled around a kebob stick.

 

The cake was a strawberry cake with buttercream icing.

80s Vibe

Sorry about being non-existent for a while.

Hope you enjoy this cake.  It was for my son's 8th birthday.  He was into all the old games after watching Pixels.  So, I made him a Old School game cake.

For this cake a made two square chocolate cakes with chocolate frosting.

I then covered it in Marshmallow Fondant.

Each side of the cake featured a different game.

There was Pac-Man.

There was Asteroids.

And there was Centapede.

The front of the cake had Happy Birthday in Pac-Man font.

Each character on the top of the cake is made completely out of Fondant.
