Wow, Just seem to be making Birthday card after Birthday card here lately! This one is one of the ones I made for the February Birthday's that I forgot to post. All paper and ink is Close To My Heart, and the stamps were some I picked up at Michael's. I used decorative scissors to create a 'ribbon' strip across the card to seperate the top section from the bottom section. Hope you like it!

Daddy's Doober, Mommy's Doober

Now when Ian is being silly, and we tell him that he is being a Goober, he fires back 'Daddy's Doober, Mommy's Doober, Sister's Doober!' Too cute!

Another "H"appy Birthday!

I made another birthday card this week. This one went to my sister-in-law. I know it looks kind of boyish, but I saw a layout in one of my books, and I went with it. It turned into this card. All products are Close To My Heart except the brads. Hope you like it!

Tied Down

I had a CTMH gathering Saturday at a coworkers house, and I had some cute cards for them to make. I used pink and blue because pink is one of her favorite colors. The pink and blue paper is just some I had in my stash. The matte the butterflies are on is from CTMH. The ink and stamp sets are from CTMH as well. I heat embossed the butterfly images with clear embossing powder. I then used daubers to apply the ink around the butterflies. It made a neat tie dye effect. Sorry for the bad pic, it was a little cloudy outside when I took it and it was taken with my iphone. Hope you enjoy it!

Stop And Smell The Flowers

I altered this candle a few months ago for a coworkers birthday. I am just now posting it to my blog because I hadn't taken a picture of it earlier, but now that I have my handy iphone I can do those things now...lol! This is just a candle I bought at Wal-Mart. I then took some Close To My Heart paper from the Seredipidity collection (I think), and just cut it to fit the candle. The flowers were precut images on a sheet of textured cardstock. So, it really couldn't have come together any easier.

Make a Wish

When I was thinking of this card, I wanted to do a white base with a little splash of color. I didn't want to make it girly because I have two guys I have to make cards for. I think it turned out ok. Hope you like it. I used cardstock from my stash, stamps and ink from Close To My Heart and the stars are cut out of Close To My Heart patterned paper.

PTI Color Challenge

Over at PTI Nichole is having another challenge. This time the Design Team members picked their favorite color combos, and you needed to pick one or all of the combos to create a project. I chose Dawn Mcvey's color favorites.


I then came up with a fun card using mostly Close To My Heart supplies. Hope you like it.
