Sundress Redo Part 1

I know you have all just been dying to see what I come up with next so you don't have to wait any longer.

My coworker let me go shopping in some clothes that she was going to get rid of, and I found this little number. She had never even wore it, and the tag was still on the dress.


The fabric is very pretty, but it's a little much so I decided to split it into several pieces. The first one I am going to show you is this wonderful number.


All, I did was get my handy seem ripper out, and go to down seperating the bottom from the top portion. Once that was done, I measured my waist and cut the bottom to fit my waist. I sewed the side together, and put in an elastic waist. I still have plenty of fabric left to do something fun for little girl.

Excellent save. :p I have several of those castoff sundresses, that you put them on and see why they got rid of them in the first place, lol. I need to refashion those, too. :D
